Halal Indian Food in Estepona: What to Know Before You Order
25 July 2026

Looking for halal Indian food in Estepona? Here is how our kitchen works, which dishes to choose, and how to order for takeaway or delivery in the centre.
Finding halal Indian food on the Costa del Sol should not be complicated. At Sabor India Estepona, in the heart of Estepona centre, our kitchen is built around North Indian cooking: tandoor-grilled meats, slow-simmered curries and freshly baked breads.
What halal means on our menu
Our chicken and lamb dishes are prepared following halal practice, and no pork is used in the tandoor or curry sections of our kitchen. If you avoid alcohol, ask us and we will guide you to dishes cooked without wine or cream liqueurs. We are always happy to confirm ingredients dish by dish before you order — just call us or ask your waiter.
Dishes to start with
- Chicken Tikka and Malai Tikka from the clay tandoor, marinated overnight in yoghurt and spices.
- Butter Chicken, mild and creamy, the safest choice for children and first-timers.
- Irani Kofta Curry, hand-rolled minced lamb balls in a rich onion and tomato gravy.
- Lamb Passanda, gentle and nutty with almond and cream.
- Garlic Chilli Chicken for those who want real heat.
Every curry can be adjusted: mild, medium or hot. Tell us your level and the kitchen cooks to order rather than reheating a pre-made base.
Vegetarian and vegan halal options
More than a third of the menu is vegetarian. Dal Makhani, Chana Masala, Bhindi Masala and Aloo Gobi are all cooked separately from meat dishes, and most can be made vegan by swapping ghee and cream for oil and coconut. Ask when ordering.
Ordering in Estepona centre
You can eat in, collect, or have your food delivered inside Estepona centre — Old Town, Plaza de las Flores, the port, the seafront promenade and Playa del Cristo. Use the Order Now button on our website to build your basket, add a note to any dish (extra spicy, no dairy, no nuts) and send it straight to us on WhatsApp. Reservations for the dining room and terrace work the same way.
We are open every day from 14:00 to midnight, at Calle Miguel de María Luque 7, a two-minute walk from Plaza de las Flores.
